me at f.i.t

hello there quilt and fabric enthusiasts of the blogosphere.

no, im not studying or teaching at F.I.T in NEW YORK CITY, but i am participating in a great event with the alliance for american quilts.

the alliance for american quilts is a fabulous organization whose mission is to document, preserve, and share our American quilt heritage by collecting the rich stories that historic and contemporary quilts, and their makers, tell about our nation’s diverse peoples and their communities.

the event will take place on SATURDAY AUGUST 6th from 1 to 6pm. it is just a month away so you’ll want to make sure you reserve your tickets ASAP! please check out WWW.ALLIANCEFORAMERICANQUILTS.ORG for more info regarding the weekend of events and for ticket information.

it will definitely be an exciting and informative evening for all and i look forward to seeing you there!

  1. hello jay, it was very nice meeting you at fashion show tonight at rosemont college. my niece emilie patton (blue flower/vines) talked about how nice and helpful you were to all the girls in her class. she said you could not have been nicer. thank you for being you and helping the girls. hope to hear great things from you in the future. good luck with up coming events and your projects. cindy patton-walker.(7/8/11)
