Refined Absurdity

hi. wanted to thank PJ Reilly for helping us out with some of the latest photos that appear in the store. PJ is an up and coming fashion photographer and we were unfortunately able to only take advantage of a small bit of his talent. PJ is also a Philadelphia U student and recently published a book Refined Absurdity featuring some of his awesome work. hopefully we’ll have a chance to tap into PJ more for our upcoming spring collection!

Wonderful photos by PJ and amazing designs by Jay – a perfect combo! I’m so envious of anyone who has the talent to capture humans on film…my skills lies only with photographing inanimate objects or animals…Great to see Philly talent showcased so well!

Hi Jay,
I have been following your career since Project Runway and I noticed you now have a fabric line with Free Spirit and showed at Quilt Market. I am a licensing artist and have a few fabric designs out there. I’m curious as to how you found the quilt market acceptance vs. fashion acceptance.
I too am in the Philly area with a son at the Art Institute majoring in fashion marketing.
Much luck with your fabrics. They are delightful!
